I had my eyes tested at another local optician, and I wasn’t too impressed with their frame choices. After making excuses to come back the next day, I headed home down the High Street. As I was passing by Robert Callander, I decided to pop in and see if I could find anything I liked. As soon as I walked in, I could tell this optician was a different kind of place. The warm, friendly welcome and the tastefully arranged display of stylish frames on the walls made me feel right at home. I told Emily at the desk about my situation, and even though it was the end of the day, she said Robert would see me for a quick chat once he finished with his current appointment. I could sit down and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee while I waited. When I spoke to Robert, he explained their approach. After I told him what I was looking for and my preferences, he and Emily picked out several styles of frames for me to try. When I had each of them on, they explained why certain pairs suited me, or not. The individual attention I got was brilliant, and Robert and Emily were very generous with their advice and expertise. I made a follow-up appointment and selected a fantastic pair of well-crafted and stylish frames that are honestly the best I’ve ever had in over forty-five years of wearing specs. Buying glasses from Robert Callander was an enjoyable experience and the customer service was second to none. I was made to feel like a valued customer who deserved a pair of glasses that would make me feel good and look great. And it was fun too—I’ve never had a new pair of specs presented to me in a silver cloche before! I’ll definitely be back the next time I need my eyes checked.

She’s been working with our family, including both our children for almost 20 years - second to none! I trust her 100%. * Emily picked up a pair of frames (not the most expensive AND in the January sale) - I fell in love with them immediately! She knows her stuff (she’s advised me on every pair) * An experience when I went down to get my glasses that I’ll never forget! Excellent service from Robert Callander Eyewear. You will find frames here that you can't get from the large chain opticians, and help you select the perfect pair to suit you. My lenses are complex, and Robert took the time to explain the options available. I would highly recommend them, really pleased with my specs.
