I had my eyes tested at another local optician, and I wasn’t too impressed with their frame choices. After making excuses to come back the next day, I headed home down the High Street. As I was passing by Robert Callander, I decided to pop in and see if I could find anything I liked. As soon as I walked in, I could tell this optician was a different kind of place. The warm, friendly welcome and the tastefully arranged display of stylish frames on the walls made me feel right at home. I told Emily at the desk about my situation, and even though it was the end of the day, she said Robert would see me for a quick chat once he finished with his current appointment. I could sit down and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee while I waited. When I spoke to Robert, he explained their approach. After I told him what I was looking for and my preferences, he and Emily picked out several styles of frames for me to try. When I had each of them on, they explained why certain pairs suited me, or not. The individual attention I got was brilliant, and Robert and Emily were very generous with their advice and expertise. I made a follow-up appointment and selected a fantastic pair of well-crafted and stylish frames that are honestly the best I’ve ever had in over forty-five years of wearing specs. Buying glasses from Robert Callander was an enjoyable experience and the customer service was second to none. I was made to feel like a valued customer who deserved a pair of glasses that would make me feel good and look great. And it was fun too—I’ve never had a new pair of specs presented to me in a silver cloche before! I’ll definitely be back the next time I need my eyes checked.

So friendly and helpful in finding the perfect frames and technical specifications to suit each individual customer. It can be quite a big thing choosing a new look and RC Eyewear take you through every step of the process with patience, logic and stylistic flair. :) Excellent small family business.
