⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I am currently traveling through Scotland and unfortunately my glasses broke which made driving quite skittish. I went through a few different opticians and none of them found a way to help me, until I arrived here. I was greeted warmly, offered a delicious espresso and chocolate, and most importantly I was given the time of day to find a solution to my problem. Thanks a million for your kindness and service, I wish I lived in Scotland so I could keep on coming here for all my glasses needs! 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I received very attentive and personalised service from start to finish at Robert Callander Eyewear. From the offer of tea or coffee on arrival, through the eye test to choosing the style of my first pair of glasses; and then discovering similar tastes in music which took our conversation in different directions! I’m delighted with my glasses and the care and service from the whole team throughout has been exceptional.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐In ten years of visiting opticians, I have made lots of expensive mistakes and never felt happy with any of my eye-wear choices. Going for the eye-test itself was never a problem, but how I dreaded the feelings of overwhelm and confusion when faced with a mind-boggling array of frames, and that sense of being utterly abandoned to make my own choice about what suited me. How I wished there was an optician that would not just support me to get the right lenses, but who would also take the time and trouble to find frames that would suit my face AND my personality. I’m thrilled to say that I’ve found such a place - Robert Callander Eyewear - and that’s where I’ll be going from now on! For the first time ever, I absolutely LOVE the glasses I’ve bought because they make me feel like ME! I enjoy wearing them, they make me smile, I feel good about myself when I’ve got them on, and I've had nothing but compliments since I got them. I know that all of this is down to the fact that Robert and his team go the extra mile for you. In fact, they probably go at least an extra five miles, because this is absolutely 5-star service all the way. If you’re looking for a cheap ’n’ cheerful, cookie-cutter experience, you’re unlikely to find it here. But if you want to feel heard and understood by a team that actually cares about getting it right for YOU, Robert Callander Eyewear is the only place to go.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Every time I look at my latest pair of glasses, I smile. It’s my second pair from Robert, and I wear them every day. They were worth every penny - not just an investment in better vision, but in comfort and joy. I got a delicate, round purple-blue frame with its soft, kitten-belly pink interior is simply perfect. I get so many compliments! And every now and then, I glance down, and catch a glimpse of a tiny ultramarine spark of light, surrounded by a soft pink haze at the edge of the frame. It always makes me smile. But it’s not just about the glasses - I love the story behind them. All the eyewear at Robert Chandler Eyewear comes from a small business that genuinely strives to create ethical, environmentally friendly, and unique products. It’s a big commitment - not to compromise on ethics or quality, while still balancing affordability. Of course, the glasses are beautiful and well made - but what truly sets the experience apart is the outstanding service and professionalism of the whole team: Robert, Claudine, and Emily. From the thorough eye check, to the quality of the lenses, to helping you find a frame that’s tailored to your style, budget, and preferences - and then fitting it with care - everything is done with precision, genuine care and heart. A few more words about Robert. Robert has a wealth of experience and is a true master of his craft. His work is clearly his passion and his love. it is such a pleasure to see when someone is so dedicated and enjoys what one’s is doing. And I’m not exaggerating when I say this new pair of glasses makes me smile every time I put them on. Honestly, I think Robert Chandler Eyewear should be prescribed as therapy - or at the very least, as an antidote to grey, rainy days.
