If you want a personable and professional service, then I would highly recommend going to see Robert, Emily and Claudine. The practice has a unique choice in eyewear brands, and from walking through the door for the first time I felt welcomed and in good hands. Robert and Emily had selected frames before my arrival based on my email brief — they then narrowed down to a couple of options by process of elimination (correct fitting and style). Claudine’s vision test was comfortable and relaxing, and was able to book me in on extremely short notice. Robert professionally fitted the chosen pair to ensure they were comfortable. I walked away with two special pairs of glasses, and fantastic memories and experiences of going to Robert’s practice — I look forward to visiting for many years to come.

In ten years of visiting opticians, I have made lots of expensive mistakes and never felt happy with any of my eye-wear choices. Going for the eye-test itself was never a problem, but how I dreaded the feelings of overwhelm and confusion when faced with a mind-boggling array of frames, and that sense of being utterly abandoned to make my own choice about what suited me. How I wished there was an optician that would not just support me to get the right lenses, but who would also take the time and trouble to find frames that would suit my face AND my personality. I’m thrilled to say that I’ve found such a place - Robert Callander Eyewear - and that’s where I’ll be going from now on! For the first time ever, I absolutely LOVE the glasses I’ve bought because they make me feel like ME! I enjoy wearing them, they make me smile, I feel good about myself when I’ve got them on, and I've had nothing but compliments since I got them. I know that all of this is down to the fact that Robert and his team go the extra mile for you. In fact, they probably go at least an extra five miles, because this is absolutely 5-star service all the way.
